“Zomlings” are legless pets that have to test all of the witch’s brews
"Zomlings" zijn huisdieren zonder pootjes die alle
brouwsels van de heks moeten uittesten
I bought these little cages at the thrift store but
didn’t know yet what to do with them
Deze kooitjes heb ik gekocht in de kringloopwinkel
maar wist toen nog niet wat ik er mee moest
Now they came in handy for my witch’s house as cages for the pets
The name “Zomlings” is printed on the side, so I instantly
had a name for the little creatures
Nu kwamen ze goed van pas voor mijn heksenhuis als
kooitjes voor de huisdieren
De naam Zomlings staat aan de zijkant dus ik had meteen
een naam voor de huisdiertjes
They fit perfectly with the “crazy witch’s house” theme
Ze passen helemaal in het thema gek heksenhuis
I treated them with Gesso and then painted them with
grey textured paint in a “cement look.”
Ik heb ze met Gesso behandeld en daarna geschilderd
met grijze structuurverf "Cement look"
Je krijgt een heel mooi huis Xandra
