Cabinet for above the bathtub, 1:12 scale / Kastje voor boven het ligbad schaal 1:12

For the dollhouse bathroom, I crafted a little cabinet 

 that will hang above the bathtub

This way, towels, a bath sponge, shampoo, 

and other essentials will always be within easy reach

I even made the enamel bathtub out of paper!

Voor de badkamer van het poppenhuis heb ik een kastje 

 

gemaakt dat straks boven het bad komt te hangen

Handdoeken, badspons, shampoo en andere benodigdheden 

 

zijn dan allemaal binnen handbereik

Het emaille bad heb ik van papier gemaakt

Als je wilt weten hoe ik het bad heb gemaakt moet je

I gave the soap dish a zinc-colored finish

to create a charming, aged effect

The tiny bath sponge was crafted from a small

piece cut from an ordinary household sponge

For the towels, I used pieces of napkin, rolled them up, 

and tied them with a little ribbon

The little glass bottles and silver box 

are actually made by gluing two beads together

As for the bubble bath bottles, I found them at Art of Mini, 

a shop that often offers unique and delightful miniatures

Het zeepbakje heb ik zink kleurig geschilderd 

 

om het een oud effect te geven

De badspons is gemaakt van een stukje dat ik heb 

 

afgeknipt van een gewone huishoudspons

De handdoeken zijn van een stukje servet, 

 

opgerold en een lintje erom

De glazen flesjes en zilveren doosje zijn 

 

twee kralen die ik op elkaar heb gelijmd

De flesjes badschuim heb ik gekocht bij de  

 

Art of Mini die vaak bijzondere miniaturen verkoopt
