From cute little dolls to a witch’s table, scale 1:12 / Van schattige popjes tot heksentafel schaal 1:12

I made a table for the witch’s house using 

the legs of cute little dolls

Ik heb een tafel voor het heksenhuis gemaakt 

 

met benen van schattige popjes

Bought three secondhand dolls for one euro

Tweedehands 3 popjes voor 1 euro gekocht

Cut off the legs and arms

Benen en armen af gesneden

Painted everything black

Alles zwart geschilderd

Painted the nails with green nail polish

Nagels met groene nagellak gelakt

Cut a circle out of styrofoam,

inserted cocktail sticks into the legs, and stuck them into the styrofoam

 Rondje uit piepschuim gesneden

Cocktailprikers in benen gestoken en in piepschuim

Trimmed the cocktail sticks to size and applied

 glue to the tops of the legs

Cocktailprikkers op maat geknipt en lijm 

 

op bovenkant van de benen gesmeerd

After drying, I cut a round piece of cardboard for 

reinforcement and glued it to the table

Na het drogen rondje van karton geknipt voor

 

versteviging van de tafel en vast gelijmd

I smeared “blood” on the legs using red nail polish

Met rode nagellak "bloed" op de benen gesmeerd

Cut a circle out of black velvet and glued it onto the table

Finished it with gold beads

I cut the skull from a Halloween bracelet and glued a candle on top

Rondje geknipt van zwart fluweel en op de tafel gelijmd

Afgewerkt met gouden plakkralen

Het doodshoofd heb ik uit een Halloween armband

 

geknipt en een kaars op gelijmd
