What do you think of my kerosene stove for the dollhouse?
I’m happy with the result and really enjoy that it turned out well
It looks lovely displayed on the kitchen table and can even be “used”
Here you can see the materials I used to make the kerosene stove
The small round pieces of wood, for the oil reservoir,
were glued together and left to dry thoroughly between clamps
Shaping the legs to the right length and bending them into form
Paint all the parts in the desired color
I chose red because I already have several enamel
items for the dollhouse kitchen in red
Hammer a small brass nail into the wood as a turning knob,
and attach a bead on top as the wick
Glue the leg in place and let it dry in a clamp
The base of the kerosene stove is finished
Drill a hole and attach the little glass window
Glue the grates on top
Let everything dry thoroughly, then glue it to the base,
and the kerosene stove is complete
