Kentia palm, scale 1:12, made / Kentia palm schaal 1:12 gemaakt

I made a Kentia palm (or Howea forsteriana) 

from rice paper for the salon of the dollhouse

The Kentia palm is a very hardy, long-lasting, 

and easy-to-care-for plant and one of the 

strongest palms suitable for a living room

voor de salon van het poppenhuis

De kentia palm is een zeer sterke, goed houdbare en

 

eenvoudig te verzorgen palm en één van de 

 

sterkste palmen voor in de woonkamer

The workshop was easy to follow, even though it 

involved very delicate cutting work for me

I lined the wicker pot with plastic and then filled it with clay

Next, I sprinkled dried coffee grounds over

the clay and inserted the leaves

De workshop was makkelijk te maken ook al was het

 

voor mij wel heel fijn knipwerk

Ik heb de rieten pot bekleed met plastic en daarna gevuld met klei

Daarna gedroogde koffieprut op de klei 

 

gestrooid en de bladeren ingestoken

The salon is becoming cozier and more inviting with

all these flowers and plants

De salon wordt steeds gezelliger met al die bloemen en planten
