metamorfose van een metamorfose....
I had refurbished this linen cupboard for the sewing room
of my dollhouse, but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted
Deze linnenkast had ik opgeknapt voor de
naaikamer
van mijn poppenhuis maar hij was niet naar mijn zin
I painted the cupboard white and gave the door knobs
and the little clothes hook a gold finish
Ik heb de kast wit geschilderd en de deurknopjes
en het kledinghaakje goudkleurig
I removed the upholstery that was on the door
The new covering I made from the fabric I used for the canopy bed
De bekleding die op de deur zat heb ik verwijderd
De nieuwe bekleding heb ik gemaakt van de stof
die ik heb gebruikt voor het hemelbed
I cut out little figures from the Victorian fabric, which I printed myself,
and glued them to the inside of the door
Ik heb poppetjes geknipt uit de Victoriaanse stof, die ik zelf heb geprint,
en op de binnenkant van de deur geplakt
The cupboard is now just the way I like it and
fits beautifully in the dollhouse nursery
De kast is nu helemaal naar mijn zin en past mooi in de kinderkamer
