I love wicker baskets and have bought four different
ones for the dollhouse kitchen
The largest basket is for the vegetables,
and it now holds a cauliflower and a bunch of carrots
I have a tiny basket for the eggs and strawberries,
and in the long basket are asparagus and mushrooms
This little dollhouse dresser is over 30 years old and
was originally made from paint-stirring sticks
It used to be pink and had seen plenty of playtime,
so it was definitely ready for a makeover
Now freshly refurbished, it fits perfectly in my dollhouse
and has found its new home in the bathroom
I’ve always found these old sailing ships impressive to look at
They are often equipped with an elaborate rigging,
each one a relic of the age of sail,
now cherished as museum pieces
This miniature three-masted ship will
be placed in the library of my dollhouse
At someone’s request, here’s a little impression
of the bottom two floors of my dollhouse so far
The entire dollhouse has seven floors
The bottom floor is the basement, with the laundry room on the left
and on the right, the storage room (or pantry)
On the second floor, you can see the hallway on the left,
where the floor and the staircase still need to be custom-fitted
and on the right, the living room, which still needs a floor and a door
The lighting still needs to be installed,
the doors have yet to be fitted, the beams need to be secured,
and some of the walls still need wallpaper
This already gives you a little idea of what the
dollhouse will look like in the end
In the basement of the dollhouse is the storage room,
and it now holds a large wooden barrel containing 248 liters of red wine
So for now, the glasses can be kept well filled!
I found this miniature fish trap at a thrift store

and hung it on the rack in the basement of the dollhouse
