I haven’t worked on my miniature hobby for the past six months

Het afgelopen half jaar heb ik niets aan de miniaturenhobby gedaan 

 

But after buying Santa and his wife, I finally got back to crafting 

and made a living room for them

Maar na aankoop van de kerstman en zijn vrouw ben ik eindelijk weer

aan het knutselen gegaan en heb ik een huiskamer voor ze gemaakt

I love red, green, and gold at Christmas — and you

can see that reflected in this little scene

Ik ben dol op rood, groen en goud met de kerst en dat is ook terug te zien in dit hoekje

I won third prize in a miniatures competition 

on the Active Dollhouse Forum on Facebook

The assignment was to create a 15 x 15 cm scene that 

included a chair and the theme “holidays.”

My entry was titled “The Morning After Christmas Eve.”

Ik heb de derde prijs gewonnen in een miniaturen wedstrijd

bij het Actieve Poppenhuisforum op Facebook

De opdracht was in een hoekje van 15 x 15 cm een stoel

verwerken en het thema feestdagen

Mijn onderwerp heet "De ochtend na kerstavond"

I made a little box and some tiny mushrooms as decorations 

for the Christmas tree in the dollhouse 🎄🍄

Christmas music in 1:12 scale for the dollhouse / Kerstmuziek schaal 1:12 voor het poppenhuis

Print one of the images below

If you print it on photo paper, you won’t need to varnish it afterward

Glue it onto thin cardboard, cut it out, and glue the edges of the sleeve 

lightly so that the record can still fit inside

Then cut out the record and run the edges along a black ink pad for a realistic finish

Print dan 1 van de onderstaande plaatjes uit

Als je het met fotopapier uitprint hoef je het later

niet af te lakken

Lijm het op dun karton, knip het uit, lijm de hoes 

dun bij de randjes dat de L.P. er nog in kan

Knip de L.P. uit en haal de randjes langs

een zwart stempelkussen

Lantern for pillar candles made in 1:12 scale / Lantaarn voor stompkaarsen gemaakt in schaal 1:12

Lantern made from cardboard, matchsticks, a bead, wire, paint, and glue

The candles were made by cutting small pieces of a straw, 

painting them, filling them with glue, inserting a thread as a wick, and blackening the tip

The holly branch I had already made earlier

There was a clear instruction included, so that wasn’t a problem

The Christmas tree, poinsettia, and Christmas gift boxes 

were workshops I won from Silly Sisters

Er zat een goede beschrijving bij dus dat was geen probleem

De kerstboom, kerstster en kerst doosjes waren workshops

die ik heb gewonnen bij Silly Sisters

The miniature diorama was an online workshop

Het miniatuur kijkkastje was een online workshop

I made the other items myself, and I bought a

few miniatures such as the sleigh and the little horse

Overige dingen heb ik zelf gemaakt en een aantal miniaturen

zoals de slee en het paardje heb ik gekocht

Yesterday, I attended a fun workshop by Sylvia de Groot

Here’s already a little sneak peek of my Christmas stall!

The stall, black lantern, and skis with poles are what I made yesterday

I still have three miniatures left to finish at home

The Friese doorlopers (Dutch skates), holly branches, and Christmas stockings

The other miniatures I had already made earlier, and some I bought

There will also be lighting inside the lantern

Once it’s completely finished, I’ll show it again!

Gister een leuke workshop gehad van Sylvia de Groot

 

Hier alvast een voorproefje van mijn kraam

De kraam, zwarte lantaarn en ski`s met stokken heb ik gister gemaakt

Ik moet nog 3 miniatuurtjes thuis maken

Friese doorlopers, takken hulst en kerst sokken

De overige miniaturen had ik voor die tijd al gemaakt en sommige gekocht

Er komt ook nog verlichting in de lantaarn

Als hij helemaal klaar is zal ik hem nog een keer laten zien
