Would you like to make a vintage miniature sink?
Then download the image and resize it to fit
Made a 1:12 scale tray from three wooden coffee stirrers
It’s amazing how you can create such a cute miniature with so little material!
Through a Facebook group for miniaturists,
I got in touch with a woman who lives nearby
Last week, we met for the first time, and she gave
me these beautiful miniatures
I was really surprised by all these lovely gifts!
The table lamp with the newspaper holder is a 1950s lamp,
just like the one my grandmother used to have
And the Douwe Egberts wall coffee grinder is the
same kind we had hanging in our kitchen at home
She made the little bowls herself from plaster, and I’ve
already placed a poinsettia in one of them
I also received some crafting materials
It’s so nice that, thanks to the internet, you can
meet new people who share the same hobby
New supplies for the dollhouse kitchen
The pantry in my dollhouse has been restocked!
I bought some new miniature groceries in little bottles
It all looks so realistic now, as if someone could start cooking
Nieuwe voorraad gekocht voor de poppenhuiskeuken
De voorraadkast in mijn poppenhuis is weer aangevuld!
Ik heb nieuwe miniatuur etenswaren van Sylvia Lutjeboudel gekocht
Gewekt voedsel in glazen potten
Het ziet er heerlijk en realistisch uit alsof er zo gekookt kan worden
I made a cookbook stand from a kit for the kitchen of my dollhouse
You have to be very careful when popping out the laser-cut pieces
and sanding them, as the material is very fragile
Then glue them according to the instructions (and optionally paint),
and you’ll have a beautiful stand for your cookbook
The dollhouse seamstress has made new tea towels
and little sheets for the nursery
She used her new needles and thread for this
For the dollhouse salon, I bought a wicker Chianti
bottle and two glasses from Reutter
Chianti is a red wine from a wine-growing region of the
same name in Tuscany, south of the city of Florence in Italy
The region stretches 160 km from north to south,
making it larger than the French wine region of Bordeaux
In the 1960s, Chianti had gained a reputation as a synonym
for poor-quality wine, but today, bottled Chianti
wines have greatly improved in quality
The butcher’s errand boy has placed the cook’s order
on the chopping block in the kitchen
It already has wire attached, so it can be hung up immediately
I bought a wooden butter churn for the dollhouse kitchen
From now on, the cook can make fresh butter
The production and use of butter has existed for thousands of years
To form butter, the fat globules must clump together,
and this happens by agitating the soured cream
The butter grains then rise to the top, and this process,
called churning, takes about 45 minutes
Charlotte the cook, while searching the pantry for cornstarch,
found these old copper jugs and a pan that are still perfectly usable in the kitchen
This beautiful miniature bottle of Carbonell olive oil, complete with a real cork,
is the newest addition to my dollhouse kitchen
Meat can now be chopped in the dollhouse kitchen
on this beautiful butcher’s block
