I’m making a veranda from a kit by Iriginals

These are great kits to work with because everything 

fits well and the instructions are clear

I used this wood stain

Glued them onto cardboard and cut out notches so the side walls 

and posts could still be glued in place

 Op karton geplakt en inkepingen uitgeknipt

 

zodat zijwanden en palen nog gelijmd konden worden

I’m going to add planks to the back wall next

Embroidered a miniature tea cosy in 1:12 scale / Miniatuur theemuts geborduurd schaal 1:12

I tried miniature embroidery for the first time and made a little tea cosy

On the front there’s a basket with roses, and on the back, hydrangeas

Ik ben voor het eerst aan het miniatuur borduren geweest en

heb een theemuts gemaakt

Aan de voorkant een mand met rozen en aan de achterkant hortensia`s

I couldn’t see the holes in the fabric even with my glasses on

Ik kon de gaatjes in de stof met mijn bril niet zien

So I bought a magnifying headset with a light, which 

comes with five interchangeable lenses

Daarom heb ik heb een loupebril gekocht met verlichting waar je

5 verschillende lenzen in kunt doen

I really enjoyed doing it, although after all that peering 

I sometimes started to see double

Ik vond het leuk om te doen hoewel ik soms een beetje

dubbel ging zien van al het turen
