The fortune teller can start working!
On the zinc roof, I added some moss and if you look closely,
you’ll spot a little robin sitting on the right side
Without the roof — so you can get a better look inside
Insect hotel made from cardboard and herbs
The bird feeder with the squirrels was made by Akke Ris
The table, chairs, and kitchen counter came as a kit,
so I had to assemble and paint them myself
I made the tablecloth and the runner on the cabinet by hand
I thought it would be fun to turn it into an old-fashioned sink with a drain,
so I downloaded the photo below and resized it to scale
I copied it four times so that all the tiles were the same size,
and then I used them to cover the sink
If you’d like to make the tarot cards yourself, below you’ll find
a free printable that may be shared and used — but only for personal use
I received this little cabinet and painted it
I made the tray from three coffee stirrers
I made the box with gypsy photos myself,
as well as the Victorian photo box on the bed
I made the bed out of cardboard and fabric
A view of the bed from above
The balcony of the gypsy wagon is small, but it’s filled
with flowers and plants — all of which I made myself
I made the little birdhouse out of cardboard
The lantern is made from cardboard, matchsticks, and a bead
And the chicken coop is made from cardboard
(a workshop by Yvonne Online Workshops)
It’s amazing what you can make out of cardboard
It’s such an easy material to work with!
The gypsy wagon itself is a kit I bought from Iriginals
The wall made of cardboard before the bed is something I added myself
It was an easy kit to assemble, but the doors leading
to the balcony gave me some trouble
The door frame was fragile and broke three times
I couldn’t get it to fit properly because it was too big,
so I had to do quite a bit of filing and sanding before it finally fit
I made the “wooden planks” on the outside from cardboard
and glued them on in an overlapping, shingle-like pattern
en dakpansgewijs vast gelijmd
