"Zomling" in a birdcage, scale 1:12 / "Zomling" in een vogelkooi schaal 1:12

I put a “Zomling” (the witch’s pet) in a birdcage

I still had a white birdcage in my box of odds and ends

Ik heb een "Zomling"  (huisdier van de heks) in een vogelkooi gemaakt

Ik had nog een witte vogelkooi in mijn doos met rommeltjes

Bent one of the cage’s legs—after all, things shouldn’t 

look too neat in the witch’s house

Painted it purple and black, and cut the cage open

Glued the Zomling inside, though it took quite a bit of 

creative construction to let it dry properly

niet te netjes zijn in het heksenhuis

Paars/zwart geschilderd en kooi opengeknipt

Zomling er in gelijmd al was daar wel een hele constructie

 

voor nodig om die goed te laten drogen 

For the finishing touch, I glued on the ivy I bought at the fair from Art of Mini

Als afwerking de klimop er op gelijmd die ik op 

 

de beurs heb gekocht bij Art of Mini
