Dressing table, nightstand, and chair, scale 1:12, refurbished / Kaptafel , nachtkastje en stoel schaal 1:12 opgeknapt

The dollhouse is getting a beautiful dressing table in the bedroom

These pieces of furniture first needed to be refurbished

For all the bedroom furniture, I use white paint with “gold” accents

Het poppenhuis krijgt een prachtige kaptafel in de slaapkamer

Deze meubeltjes moesten wel eerst  worden opgeknapt

Ik gebruik voor alle meubeltjes in de slaapkamer witte en "gouden" verf

 

I made the little cloth on the dressing table 

from a piece of lace, which I painted gold.

Het kleedje op de kaptafel heb ik gemaakt van een 

 

stukje kant dat ik goudkleurig heb geschilderd

The chair was brown with beige fabric, 

which I felt didn’t match the dressing table

I painted the fabric gold and the chair white

If it hadn’t worked out, I would have reupholstered it, 

but the result is completely to my liking

De stoel was bruin met beige stof en vond

 

ik niet mooi passen bij de kaptafel

Ik heb de stof met goudverf geschilderd en de stoel wit

Als het niet was gelukt had ik hem opnieuw bekleed 

 

maar het resultaat is echter helemaal naar mijn zin

 

The room screen is from Petite Princess 

and I’ve had it since my childhood

Het kamerscherm is van Petite Princess 

 

en heb ik sinds mijn jeugd

The nightstand is now finished

A gold-colored cloth lies on top of it

A picture frame and the Reutter alarm clock are placed on it

I made a little book, ready to be “read”

Het nachtkastje is nu ook klaar

Op het kastje ligt een goudkleurig kleedje

Een fotolijst en de wekker van Reutter staan er bovenop

Een boek heb ik gemaakt en ligt klaar om gelezen te worden

 

I still need to refurbish the canopy bed and a wardrobe, 

and then all the furniture for the 

dollhouse bedroom will be finished

Ik moet nu nog het hemelbed en een kast opknappen 

 

en dan zijn alle meubels voor de slaapkamer 

 

van het poppenhuis klaar
