Finally, after years, something has happened in my dollhouse again!
My husband added strips of wood to the front of each shelf,
each one a centimeter wider
This way, the warm white LED strip could be attached to the back of the wooden strip
The strips are connected to each other with wires that had to be soldered
With a remote control, the light can be dimmed — from bright to atmospheric lighting
I got this idea after a visit to the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem,
where the dollhouse is illuminated in the same way
The bright light is useful when working on the dollhouse
The ambient lighting is also convenient during the day,
as it allows you to see everything much more clearly
Soon, I hope to resume construction
I’ll be fixing the interior walls, laying the floor in the attic, putting up wallpaper,
and adding beams to the ceiling
