The 1:12 scale laundry room in the dollhouse is now complete / De wasruimte schaal 1:12 in het poppenhuis is nu klaar

Take a closer look at the photo below, and you’ll notice

that the floor has been raised to make room for the table

 

Als je de foto hieronder vergroot zie je dat 

 

de vloer voor de tafel omhoog is gekomen

I had glued the tiled floor onto thin cardboard in the cabinet,

but it turns out I used the wrong glue!

To fix it, I carefully removed the fireplace and the partition wall,

making it much easier to lift out the floor and start fresh

Ik had de tegelvloer op dun karton in de kast gelijmd

 

maar ik denk dat ik de verkeerde lijm heb gebruikt

Ik heb de schouw en tussenmuur weggehaald om de

 

vloer makkelijker  te kunnen verwijderen

 

It took quite a bit of scraping and sanding to get rid of all the leftover bits

Then I glued the tiled floor directly into the cabinet,

and now I can only hope it stays snug and perfectly in place this time

Het was flink krabben en schuren voordat alle restjes

 

waren verwijderd

Daarna heb ik de tegelvloer rechtstreeks in de kast gelijmd 

 

en nu maar hopen dat de vloer dit keer wel strak blijft liggen
