Rolls of Italiano and Miss Blanche cigarettes in 1:12 scale / Rolletjes Italiano en Miss Blanche sigaretten schaal 1:12

I had been looking for the labels for Italiano candy for a long time 

to make little rolls, but I couldn’t find them anywhere

For me, they’re a bit of childhood nostalgia, since my dad would occasionally buy us a roll

When I saw the rolls for sale, I ordered them right away, along with a pack of 

Miss Blanche cigarettes and a box of Zwaluw matches

They’ll fit perfectly in the 1960s living room I still plan to create

Ik was al heel lang op zoek naar de etiketten van Italiano snoepjes

 

om rolletjes te maken, maar kon die nergens vinden

Voor mij is dat jeugdsentiment want heel soms kocht

 

mijn vader een rolletje voor ons

Toen ik de rolletjes te koop zag heb ik ze dan ook meteen

 

besteld samen met een pakje Miss Blanche sigaretten

 

en een doosje Zwaluw lucifers

Ze passen mooi straks in de jaren 60 huiskamer

 

die ik nog wil gaan maken

Years ago, I bought the kit from Akke Ris that you can see in the photo below

Jaren geleden heb ik de kit gekocht van Akke Ris
die je hieronder op de foto ziet

The kit included wood to make the counter, but I chose 

to use cardboard instead, as I find it easier to work with

Er zat hout bij bij om de counter te maken maar

ik heb voor karton gekozen omdat ik dat

makkelijker vind werken

I also changed the design, color, and style a bit

Verder heb ik de uitvoering, kleur en het model een beetje veranderd

I made small square mirrors for the sides

Ik heb kleine vierkante spiegeltjes gemaakt voor de zijkant

So now I have plenty of leftover materials 

but I’m sure they’ll come in handy someday!

Ik heb nu dus nog veel materiaal over maar dat komt

vast wel weer een keer van pas

I’m going to make a candy counter, and for that I made

 this box filled with rolls of King peppermint

Ik ga een snoepcounter maken en daarvoor heb ik

deze doos met King pepermuntrollen gemaakt

If you download and print these printables on photo paper, 

you’ll get nice and sturdy prints

Als je deze printables download en uitprint op fotopapier

dan krijg je mooie stevige printjes

Cut out the printables for the best result

Wrap them around a cocktail stick to give them a round shape

Cut small pieces of a cocktail stick, slightly longer than the wrapper

Then wrap aluminum foil around the wooden piece and glue the wrapper

Snijd de printables voor het mooiste resultaat

Draai ze rond een satéprikker om er een rond model in te krijgen

Snij stukjes van een satéprikker iets groter dan de wikkel

Draai dan aluminiumfolie om het stukje hout heen

en lijm daarna de wikkel er omheen

And ready is your roll of peppermint
