I found a gramophone in a thrift store for only €0.25 and
it was exactly the right size for the dollhouse
I had really wanted to make a gramophone but had no idea how to go about it
Now I just had to restore this one — and that was no problem at all
Below, you can see the gramophone as it looked when I bought it

I painted the case black
I painted the horn and needle in a copper color
De koffer heb ik zwart geschilderd
De hoorn en naald
heb ik koperkleurig gemaakt
On Google, I searched for records and sleeves from the 1900s,
resized them to 1:12 scale, glued them onto cardboard,
cut them out, and varnished them
I printed everything twice and glued the copies back-to-back
so that each side shows a record or a sleeve

Alles heb ik dubbel
uitgeprint en op elkaar geplakt zodat aan
beide kanten een langspeelplaat of
hoes is te zien
I didn’t glue one of the sleeves completely shut
and let a record stick halfway out of it
I attached the His Master’s Voice logo to the front of the
case and placed a record on the gramophone
In the end, I had a complete music set for very little money and
entirely my own design and a fun few hours of crafting!
