It took quite a bit of fiddling before I finished the medinilla,
but now it’s proudly displayed on the piano in the salon of my dollhouse
I made a Kentia palm (or Howea forsteriana)
from rice paper for the salon of the dollhouse
The Kentia palm is a very hardy, long-lasting,
and easy-to-care-for plant and one of the
strongest palms suitable for a living room
The workshop was easy to follow, even though it
involved very delicate cutting work for me
I lined the wicker pot with plastic and then filled it with clay
Next, I sprinkled dried coffee grounds over
the clay and inserted the leaves
The salon is becoming cozier and more inviting with
all these flowers and plants
I bought a white miniature cyclamen for my dollhouse
at “Hanneke’s Flower and Plant Shop”
I used to think cyclamens were an old-fashioned plant,
but nowadays I find them quite pretty
It now proudly sits on the wine table in the library
