Box bed, 1:12 scale, for the dollhouse maid in the attic / Bedstee schaal 1:12 voor de dienstmeid

Doesn’t the dollhouse maid get a beautiful box bed?

Krijgt de dienstmeid van het poppenhuis geen prachtige bedstee?

I saw this box bed for sale online in blue and 

thought the model was very beautiful,

but the color didn’t fit my dollhouse

I showed the bed to my friend and said how 

much I wished it were available in natural wood

She emailed the maker to ask if he could 

make it in natural wood, and it was possible

To my great surprise, she then gave me this beautiful 

box bed, which I was able to finish entirely to my own taste

Ik zag deze bedstee op het internet te koop staan 

 

in het blauw en vond het model erg mooi 

 

maar de kleur niet passend in mijn poppenhuis

Ik liet de bedstee aan mijn vriendin zien en zei dat 

 

ik het zo jammer vond dat hij niet te koop was in blank hout

Heeft ze de maker gemaild met de vraag of hij hem 

 

ook kon maken in blank hout en dat was mogelijk

Tot mijn grote verrassing kreeg ik dus alsnog 

 

van haar deze prachtige bedstee die ik helemaal 

 

naar eigen smaak kon afmaken

and I think it’s a wonderful addition to 

the attic room of my dollhouse

Ik heb hem een aantal malen gebeitst en toen afgelakt

Daarna een matrasje met lakentje gemaakt en van

 

romantische stof het dekbedje, rolkussentje en gordijntje

Alle deurtjes en laatjes van de bedstee kunnen worden 

 

geopend en ik vind het een aanwinst voor de 

 

zolderkamer van mijn poppenhuis
