My first dollhouse was made by my father and mother,
and here I am proudly showing it to the neighbor girls
The dollhouse had a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchen with a rooftop terrace
Unfortunately, this is the only photo I have of my dollhouse
The dollhouse was furnished with both handmade and plastic furniture
In 1964, I received a few pieces of Petite Princess furniture,
which I still own today — they are now over 50 years old

The snapdragons were much easier for my hands to make than the hanging geranium

was quite a challenge to make, because the tiny heart-shaped pieces
were so incredibly small that I could barely pick them up with my tweezers
I was on the verge of giving up, but after a little break,
I decided to continue, and this plant is the result
The next day, I trimmed some of the flowers and added new ones
because I still wasn’t completely satisfied, resulting in the plant you see below
