Upper cabinet made of cardboard, made for the little shop, scale 1:12 / Bovenkast van karton gemaakt voor het winkeltje schaal 1:12

The top part of the cabinet for the little shop is finished

It will be placed on top of a chest of drawers

First, I cut out the correct size from paper and tested all the miniatures I had, 

so I could see how tall and wide the compartments needed to be

After that, I cut the shelves from 2 mm thick cardboard

Daarna van 2mm dik karton de planken gesneden

Glue all the shelves together and let them dry thoroughly

Coat all sides with gesso or paint, otherwise the cardboard will warp

After that, I painted it with chalk paint

Finally, I varnished the cabinet with acrylic varnish
